Today when I think of dining tables or kitchen tables and chairs, I think that they are wood..but really there are several different options available...

Chromcraft quality lasts and lasts...now, maybe I should say that with a slight "disclaimer, because if any object (furniture, a vehicle or even  shoes) is misused" or abused- it will not last as long as they were designed to. Chromcraft is very well made. I have a set in my home that has lasted 40+ years. 2 kids, 4 grand kids and a whole lot of youth parties where there may have been too many kids in the house to even count. My mother also has a set in her kitchen and they have been there as long as I can remember. My parents have used that table set day in and day out. They pushed them self from the table to the refrigerator to grab the salad dress or to refill their ice at least a 1000 times.  The soft glide caster wheels are really nice, especially if you have difficulty getting up or down or standing for long periods of time.
