Health Benefits of Zero Gravity
Gravity does a lot for us. Our world as we know it would be turned upside-down without it, and, as we learned from astronauts who had to go without for many months, it also plays a pretty big role with our body- step by step.
Enjoy the the benefits of Zero Gravity in a recliner or in an adjustable base bed that finally makes you feel at home. Science in action designed by the astronauts!
Gravity does have its drawbacks, too. Here are a few of it’s negative issues….
Gravity can take its toll on your body, causing muscular and joint pain from uncomfortable pressure; this can become unbearable if body stress and trigger points press continuously on already tender pressure points while you rest and try to relax.
How can you relax in such discomfort? How can your body renew itself while in pain?
Zero Gravity removes those potentially painful side effects.
Developed over several years, zero gravity closely simulates weightlessness. You may feel better sleeping in a recliner, but once you try this you will feel the difference instantly. Regardless of your needs and how they change over time, you’ll always find new benefits of the Zero G position to enjoy.
Do more than just sit. The gentle elevation of the head when in the Zero Gravity position makes it easy to comfortably watch TV, read a book, or work on your laptop or tablet while in bed.
Get exact comfort. The head elevation also opens up airways, helping to alleviate the severity of snoring or uncomfortable sitting. If you need more tilt- you can do that. If you need more lumber support- you can do that as well. If you need a massage or head on a sore back- this recliner has that too!You can get the exact comfort that you desire!
Easily climb in and out. Exit your recliner more efficiently and safely with the one-button adjust-ability. This is a great feature for the elderly, injured, or those with weak abdominal muscles. The recliner sits slightly higher allowing you to have a firm foundation to hold on to as you move in and out.
Improve heart health. Zero Gravity is a great way to take pressure off the heart, allowing for better blood flow throughout the body, actually putting additional pressure on the heart.
Decrease lower back pain. One of our customer’s favorite benefits of the Zero Gravity position is that it takes pressure off of the lower back, allowing for optimal blood flow to the brain and aiding in pain relief.
Relax sore muscles. Depending on what muscles give you the most issues, you can adjust the back individually from the legs. If you need to adjust the leg height- you can do just that. If you need more head tilt- you can do that!
Varicose vein Pain- we have seen and heard from clients how just 20 mins a day in this recliner with your feet up can make you feel like you are 18 again. Pain is gone!
Alleviate acid reflux/GERD. Tilting the upper torso upward helps reduce—or even prevent—acid or food present in the stomach from returning back to the esophagus. But you still need your feet up? You can do that! Remember, the controlling unit works independent of each other. You can get exact comefort and relief.
Reduce swelling and edema. Those with diabetes, high blood pressure, or excess weight can rest more comfortably by raising the legs to reduce swelling in the lower body and promote proper blood circulation.
Improve breathing. Lying on a flat surface can make it more difficult to breathe, especially for those with sleep apnea or asthma. Raising the body helps open the airways, resulting in better breathing habits.
